Damage Waiver is billed after the check-in date for every reservation.

Reservations cancelled before check-in are not charged.
If a reservation is cancelled after check-in, the fee is charged automatically.

After activation, all reservations from connected channels for selected properties are covered. Coverage cannot be removed on a single-reservation or channel basis.

Insurance is offered by Tint Embedded Insurance Services, LLC, a licensed surplus lines insurance broker, and underwritten by a non-admitted insurance carrier. In case of the insurance carrier’s insolvency, payment of claims may not be guaranteed. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions contained in the applicable policy.

How do I choose which channels are covered?

All reservations are covered by default.
In the setup screen you can toggle protection on or off for each OTA or direct channel.
Example: deselect a channel you don’t need and keep coverage on the rest.

Can I insure reservations that were booked before I enrolled?

Yes. After you enroll, Boom launches a workflow that:
1. Creates draft policies in the background for every future stay.
2. Filters out any ineligible reservations.
3. Emails you a link to review prices and opt-in the ones you want—all without hitting API rate limits.

Can I earn revenue from Damage Protection?

Absolutely. Add your own markup to Boom’s cost and pass the total on to guests or property owners.

Is there a long-term commitment?

No. You can cancel Damage Protection at any time.
